Edgers
Our board edger shift assemblies are made to be easily configured for many machine setups, and for ease of installation. Designed to function in sawmill environment day in and day in a out for decades with little to no need for service. They use the same delrin ® bearings that are common to all of our sliding products, that require little to no maintenance. If anything an occasional quick wipe down of the linear shafts with solvent to loosen pitch and sawdust, and you are done! They come with everything needed to get you up and running quickly and can be ordered in custom lengths, the standard being 48″. The units work very well even in the harshest of environments and can handle the stresses produced by vertical edgers.
Applications include: board edgers, vertical and horizontal and any other application that requires linear positioning of a laser for alignment.
SA-001 Unison Shift Assembly
The SA-001 unison shift assembly is what is often referred to as “equidistant”. When one saw moves, the opposite saw moves with it, either apart, or together.
Mounting Bolts Spacing:
End plates, 2 ea 5/16″ thru-bolts, 2.750″ spacing
End plate hole distance, same as ordered shaft length
Lengths Available:
24″ up to 72″
Standard length 48″ unless otherwise requested
Lengths over 48″ will incur additional per foot charges
Included Installation Parts:
4 pcs Swivel block (routing) pullies
4- 5/16 x 1.5″ mounting bolts with washers and nuts
2 pcs cable clamps 1/8″ ac
50′ ac cable

SA-002 Independent Shift Assembly
The SA-002 independent shift assembly is just that, configured for independent saws. Both saws can be moved seperately.

Frequently Asked Questions
Due to overall complexity and cable routing density issues, we don’t have a 3 saw moving assembly per se. In such a situation, we suggest ordering one standard two saw assembly (SA-001 or SA-002), then adding another assembly configured for one moving unit. Please call if you have questions.
